Export credits insurance and guarantees

Official export credit support in the form of credit insurance and bonds is provided in Poland by Export Credits Insurance Corporation Joint Stock Company (Korporacja Ubezpieczeń Kredytów Eksportowych Spółka Akcyjna, KUKE S.A.), supervised by the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology.
KUKE S.A. is the only institution in Poland offering export credit insurance backed by the State Treasury. The Corporation has a legal mandate to provide such facilities on the basis of the Law of 7 July 1994 on export insurance guaranteed by the State Treasury.
KUKE S.A. may provide the following products with backing of the State Treasury:
- insurance of short term (up to 2 years) contracts and credits against the non marketable risk as well as commercial and political risks for designated group of countries incl. Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan,
- insurance of medium - and long-term export credits with a repayment terms of 2 or more years,
- insurance of direct investments abroad,
- contract bonds.
