The Communication in accordance with Article 12(5)(a) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 2913/92 on the information provided by the customs authorities of the Member States concerning the classification of goods in the customs nomenclature (2016/C 119/04) was published in the Official Journal of the European Union C 119 of 5 April 2016.

In the Communication has been placed an information about amendments of the Explanatory Notes of the HS Nomenclature and Classification Opinions approved by the by the Customs Cooperation Council, edited by the Harmonized System Committee (HSC) of the World Customs Organization at its 56^th session in September 2015.
